Pain-Free Marketing for Employment Lawyers

Marketing for lawyers usually involves a local strategy even if it is only part of the bigger picture. The webinar referred to in this blog is by SMMU and specifically deals with local marketing strategies. It covers tools and techniques for the job such as Google Places and Pay Per Click advertising, while also considering some burning questions such as should you advertise in Yellow Pages and is Banner advertising dead? All in all, this webinar was ideal in terms of marketing for lawyers who have a local community presence and want to capitalise on it.

I listened in to SMMUs free webinar last week and it was excellent. I found the pace fast but totally manageable and the content was relevant and perfectly pitched for the audience.  If only all webinars were made this way!

However, I was distracted on a few occasions during the webinar (this must be fairly common however good the material) and when it finished my screen reverted to the webinar hosts blurb. I was not given a link to SMMU or further materials. It was peculiar because the webinar was so good that I expected it to provide a masterclass in using the webinar for the purpose of lead conversion. Perhaps viewers were presented with opportunities that I missed, but despite being ready to continue the relationship I was left feeling a bit unloved at the end of it all.

Nevertheless, I would heartily recommend that you go to the Social Media Magic website and register to listen in next time this webinar is broadcast ~ they seem to run regularly.
